13 Tips for painting your nails

  1. Line your nails withVaseline or white craft glue before painting them for an easy cleanup or save old lip brush to help tidy up the edges of your nail.

  2. Always use base coat.

    Base base coat gives your manicure something to adhere to which last a couple of extra days longer, and it prevents staining on your nails.

  3. Three strokes

  4. Hold your hands under cold water post-paint job or use ice water to dry your nails in three minutes.

  5. Apply multiple thin coats of polish instead of one thick coat.

  6. Fix a broken nail using a teabag and nail glue.

  7. Quickly fix a smudge by licking it

    While the nail polish is still wet, you can easily fix it by licking your finger and gently smoothing it out, you can even use your tongue to smooth it.  But remember LICK it don’t EAT it.

  8. Apply thick hand cream before removing polish, and apply it again after you have removed the polish.

  9. GLITTER is the way to go, it last longer

  10. Thin out thick nail polish with thinner or a little bit of nail polish remover

  11. Never shake your nail polish, roll it instead

  12. Use non-acetone nail polish remover whenever possible

  13. Always use a top coat.
